Pack 349 holds its Pinewood Derby each winter — one of the most anticipated events of the year. Scouts and their families work together to design, build, and paint their own small wooden cars, then race them down a gravity-powered aluminum track. Each car is inspected and weighed before racing, and awards are given for speed as well as creative design categories. It’s a day full of friendly competition, creativity, and Pack spirit. All Scouts from Lions through Webelos are welcome to participate!
